2018 Clermont, FL Training Camp, DATES will be posted SOON

Clermont is home to the best winter training in the United States, with thousands of amateur and professional triathletes training here each year in addition to Olympians in many other sports.  Read below for more info on our 3rd year camp:

WHAT: 4 day weekend of high mileage training in Clermont, Florida. All workouts and routes are planned and fully supported with vehicle SAG, mechanics, and nutrition. Great for anyone looking to race an early season 70.3 or Ironman.  Contact me for the full workout schedule.

WHERE: Swim at the National Training Center's 50 meter outdoor pool and at Lucky's Lake(a favorite in past years).  Ride the best roads in Florida with plenty of climbing, including Sugar Loaf Mountain and Buckhill road.  Run at Waterfront Park and on the famous Clay Trail loop with rolling hills through the orange groves.

HOW FAR: Expect to ride 250 miles, run 15-30 miles, and swim 4,000-10,000 meters during our 4 days.   I do offer shorter options on the run and swim workouts(thus the wide ranges), and a few shortcuts on the rides.

WHO: I will lead the camp and everyone attending has 70.3 and(or) Ironman experience.  With the drafting on the bike workouts and shorter options available on the run and swim workouts we can accommodate a fairly wide range of ability.  I'll cap it at 15 people.

WHAT YOU GET: Pool access, all workout nutrition from First Endurance, workout planning and routing, JPR Mobile mechanic service and multiple vehicle SAG support on all rides and runs, coaching instruction with full access to me for questions, swim video to be analzyed the week after, and TBD extra's from my sponsors.

COST: $350 if you're currently coached by me, $400 for non coached.  $250 for round trip bike and bag shipping from the Fort Wayne, Indiana area.*

HOTELS: Recommended Hotels within walking distance of the National Training Center (the start for all of our workouts, or travel to workout sites) are the Hamptonn Inn and Suites of Clermont (352) 536-6600 and the Fairfield Inn and Suites of Clermont(352) 394-6585.  Contact me for discounts.
